For his outstanding sales and service record and his contri-

earned membership in Prudential's exclusive President Club.
And when Herman's clients bought Prudential insurance,
they got o piece of the Rock. This means Prudential's invest-

JERUSALEM — Early detection
of approaching heart attacks by
means of a portable tape-recorder-
like machine which measures
heartbeat around the clock now is
being pioneered by Hebrew Uni-
versity scientists.
Sponsored by a joint research
fund by the university and the
Hadassah-University Hospital, the
study is conducted by the cardiac
station at the Strauss Health Cen-
ter in downtown Jerusalem, which
provides a free service.
Headed by Prof. Shlomo Stern.
associate professor of medicine at
the Hebrew University-Hadassah
Medical School, the project is the
first of its kind to be in operation.
The main innovation is, as Prof-
Stern notes, "that we conduct a
:A-hour continuous study of the
electrical potential of each heart-
beat occurring during this period."
