The visitors also undertook to sell a total of $350,000,000 in Israel Bonds in the 70 overseas commun- ities they represent. The pledges were announced by Sam Rothberg, general chairman of the Israel Bond Organization, at a dinner at- tended by Mrs. Meir marking the close of the conferce. The Marshall Lodge and Chapter Bnai Brith leadership reception realized a total of $75,000 in Israel Bond subscriptions and honored Walter Berlow as "Marshall Man of the Year" at the Harry Kauf- man home in Birmingham. - Moses Schonfeld, United Nations correspondent and radio commen- tator was guest speaker. The reception was in advance of the Marshall dinner-dance, which will be held at 8 p.m., Feb. 19, at the Bnai David social hall, where Berlow will be presented with the Israel Shalom Award.
