Rabbi Jacob Ben Meir, grandson of Rashi, died. "Rabbenu Tam,"

Antir Gilboa. one of Israel's outstanding poets of our time,
was born in Russia and came to Palestine in 1937. His is a

waif-budding ,CangC, and in Kibbutz orchards: he served
with the Jewish Brigade in World War II; fought. in the
War of Independence; has been connected since with 0
publishing hous. e. and has all along lived for his poetry,
which was given the S•hlonsky Prize in 1961.
