$303 000 in Bonds Sold at Einstein Event Milton Weinstein

as Man of Year

Milton M. Weinstein, an active
Member of Baal Brith for nearly
four decades, will be honored as
Pisgah Lodge and Chapter "man
of the year," at a dinner-dance
8 p.m. Feb. 12 at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek.
Joey Adams, star of stage, mov-
ies, radio and television, will head
the program on behalf of the Bnal
Brith Israel Bond program.
Weinstein, attorney for 42 years,
is a native Detroiter. He has been
active in Bnai Brith since the
1930s and served as president
of both Pisgah Lodge in 1944-45
and the Metropolitan Detroit Bnai
Brith Coouncil in 1946-47.
National commissioner of both'
the Bind Foundation and Bnai
Brith citizens and veterans af-
fairs, Weinstein is president of
the Charles Grosberg Religions
Center at Wayne State Univer-
sity and president of the Wayne
Hillel Foundation.
He had the key role in raising
funds for the new Wayne Hillel
House and received the Distin-
guished Service Award fr6m Wayne
in 1969 on the dedication of the
Irwin I. Cohn Hall at Hillel House.
Weinstein also received the cer-
tificate of honor from the Wayne
Hillel Foundation and has a room
named for him at the HillelHouse.
Weinstein is treasurer of the Uni-
versity of Michigan Hillel Founda-
tion.
He served on the Bnai Brith Dis-
trict Board of Governors, is a
former executive secretary and
vice president of the Michigan
Bnai Brith Council and helped to
organize Oakland-Century Lodge.
John Anstandig is president of
Pisgah Lodge. Mrs. Morris Lupi-
loff is president of Pisgah Chap-
ter. Anstandig is dinner-dance
