The Cooper Cousins Club, consisting of children of members of the
Harry Cooper family club, recently held its annual Hanuka party a little
late to allow for the arrival of out-of-town members. Among the out-of-
towners present were Rabbi and Mrs. Jeffrey Tigay,of Wynnewood, Pa.
The California contingent included Dr. and Mrs. Bruce R. Parker and
Dr. and Mrs. Richard, Bass (Harriet Cooper). Mr. and Mrs. Norman
Ratner (Barbara Parker) were in from Chicago, and Randall Miller was
in from Fairbanks, Alaska. The evening's chairmen, Mr. and Mrs.
Stephen Cooper, said guests in from college campuses included Nancy
Cooper, Pam Firestone, Amy and Gregory Miller, Ira Smith and
Deborah Robbins.
Mr.-and Mrs. Morley Wolfe of Lincoln Ave., Oak Park, recently
were honoied on their 25th wedding anniversary with a surprise party
given by their children, Ron and Donna. The party was attended by
family and close friends, and a surprise visit from their oldest chil
dren, Shel and Diane, from Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Cottler of Sherville Pl., Southfield. spon-
sored a luncheon in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Lezell Tuesday at
the Workmen's Circle Center. Club Two, Pioneer Women, turned over
proceeds to its child rescue fund in Israel.
The Bodzin Family Club will meet 8 p.m. Sunday at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Blitz, 15211 Sutherland, Oak Park.

'To Israel With Hebrew' Starts
Tarbut Foundation TV Courses
"To Israel—With Hebrew, - a
television course in functional He-
brew, will be presented over Man-
hattan Telepromter Cable Televi-
sion, beginning Sunday.
Plans for its introduction in De-
troit also are in progress.
The program will be shown 3:30
p.m. Sundays on Channel 10 and
will be repeated on weekdays ev-
ery night at 7:30 over Channel E
in New York.
Sponsored jointly by the Tarbut
Foundation for the Advancement
of Hebrew Culture and the depart-
ment of education and culture,
American Section, World Zionist
Organization, the program series,
consisting of 13 half-hour presenta-
tions, combines a colorful trav-
elogue with practical language in-
struction. The series was produced
by the Television Center of Brook-
lyn College.
John Lemberger, regional direc-
tor of the American Zionist Fed-
eration in Philadelphia, is the pro-
ducer.
Dr. Sara Feinstein, a master
teacher of Hebrew in America, is
-the instructor in the program,
which is based on a script by Levi

scriptions which name a certain
"Uzzi" as the builder, either of the
gate or the synagogue itself.
A member of the archeological
team suggested that the site was
the talmudic Keissarin -which hith-
erto was thought to be identical
with the Roman Caesarea on the
Mediterranean coast.
