The Israel Histadrut Campaign
of ')etroit will honor the national
associate director, Israel Stolar-
sky, prior to his retirement and
Aliya at a farewell reception 10:30
a.m. Sunday at the Labor Zionist
Institute.
Brunch will be served at no
charge.
Stolarsky, who also is retiring
as director of the Latin American
and projects departments of the
campaign, has had a lifelong in-
volvement in Zionism, from the
early days in Poland where he was
edu•ated in a yeshiva and in the
Russian high schools. He has been
a Labor Zionist leader and theore-
tician ever since.
He is now fulfilling the dreams
and teachings of a lifetime by go-
ing to live, and work, in the state
he helped create.
The reception also will give cam-
paign workers an opportunity to
turn in their pledges and cash. All
Histadrut volunteers are asked to
use the time before the reception
to call on contributors.

Emergency Fund are getting or-
ganizational and training meetings
under way early in January to set
up plans for the largest campaign
in Detroit's history.
Campaign and division officers
and pre-campaign workers will
meet 10 a.m. Sunday at the Jewish
Center, Samuel Frankel, campaign
chairman, announced.
On Wednesday, the pre-cam-
paign workers for the women's
division will meet 10 a.m. at
the home of Mrs. William L.
Deutsch, 26040 Huntington, Hunt-
ington Woods, according to Mrs.
Morris J. Brandwine, chairman.
On Jan. 9, four section and
divisional meetings will bring
together nearly 150 campaign

of Gerald Arthur Kirschner in an
evening ceremony solemnized by
Rabbi James Gordon at Young
Israel of Oak-Woods. Cantor Louis
Klein assisted.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Crone of
Pine Ridge Rd., Pontiac. The
bridegroom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Morris Kirschner of 12 Mile
Rd., Southfield.
The bridal gown of peau de soie
and pearl embroidery featured an
Empire-style bodice. The chapel
length, hand-made veil was em-
broidered to match the gown.
Diane Crone, sister of the bride,
was maid of honor. Anita and
Barbara Crone attended their
sister as bridesmaids, as did Linda
Kirschner of Los Angeles, sister of
the bridegroom, and Mary Havlik
and Mrs. Dennis Haskins of
Ypsilanti.
Best man was Alan Pinter.
Ushers included David Crone,
brother of the bride, Dennis Dan-
ville, Douglas Friedman, Chris-
topher Hogan and John Sickler of
