at the Sholom Aleichem Institute,
of which he is a graduate.
From age 8, Silver performed
in both children's plays, and adult
programs, and he credits Mr.
Haar's gifts as a director and his
sense of theater discipline with
influencing his own career.
Silver appeared with professional
touring companies in performances
at Littman's People's Theater on
Twelfth St., the Wilson Theater
and others. He also appeared in
programs of dramatic readings
before a wide range of Jewish or-
ganizations throughout the area.
