Matida Citrin Turns 65 in Styles: Does
Detroit Woman
Her
Good Turn at Children's Hospital
in Ground Breaking
Last Wednesday evening Mrs.
Matilda Citrin observes her
of PW Wow Center birthday in an unusual way—she Citrin's
family gave a birthday din-

works.
The widow of Jacob Citrin will
celebrate her 65th birthday on
Saturday working in a hospital.
"I don't have too many hobbies,"
she explained, so she will work
at Detroit General Hospital on
Christmas this year just like she
did last year "so that my Christian
friends can be with their families."
Mrs. Citrin's friends reciprocate
by working for her on the Jewish
holidays.
Mrs. Citrin of Bloomfield Hills,
a former piano teacher, has worked
two days a week for the past 18
months. She works primarily with
children, and has a good relation-
ship with them. Recently, she told
the children the story of Hanuka
and taught them how to play
Hanuka games.
Mrs. Citrin has three sons, Mar-
tin, Robert and Toby, (the latter
recently was appointed by Mayor
Gribbs to the board of health),
and two grandchildren.
