Social Security Office
to Service Residents
of Oak Park and Area

A full range of Social Security
services is now available to resi-
dents of the Oak Park area, it was
announced by James Davis, man-
ager of the new office at 612 E,
Fourth, Royal Oak.
Hours are Monday-Friday from
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A staff of 12
is ready to take benefit applica-
tions and answer questions on re-
tirement, survivors, disability and
Medicare.
"A telephone call often is all
you need," Davis said, "We can
even take information for all kinds
of claims over the telephone." The
number is 548-6535..
In addition to Oak Park, the
office will serve residents of Royal
Oak, Clawson, Madison Heights,
Ferndale, Hazel Park, Huntington
Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak
Township and Berkley.
Most staff members have work-
ed in the Pontiac Social Security
office and are familiar with the
people and problems of the area.
There is convenient, free, nearby
parking.
