by Dr. Bathja Bayer of the li-

Dr. Bayer told of the "detective

that the arrangement had been
commissioned by the United States

TEL AVIV (ZINS) — Despite
Marshall Tito's attacks against
Israel and the rupture of diplomat-
ic relations between Israel and Yu-
goslavia, authorities there permit
Yugoslays to travel to Israel for
employment.
According to local press ac-
counts, the number of Yugoslav
workers is constantly increasing in
response to Israel's need for labor.
The Yugoslav worker, despite his
lack of a common language, adapts
quickly to his new surroundings.
Yugoslav living standards are still
considerably lower than those in
Israel.
