THAT NEW Salami Keeper being sold by Sy Ginsberg and Dave Perlin at Mr. Deli on W. Seven Mile'is a novel gift item . . . and really does the necessary duty while modernizing a tradition . . Instead of the salami hanging in mid-air so to speak, the air-holed keeper is a chrome or gold stand that makes for decoration and when lifted, reveals the salami. ANOTHER WAITRESS with that all-important smile is Anna (An- astasia) Kotelka in the ground level Paris Cafe restaurant at Ford Hospital . . . She's a tremen- dous asset with her pleasant ways that make for continuing custom- er comfort . . . Anna isn't just a plain waitress, by the way • . . 15 years here from Ukraine, she also has been a pretty good short order cook at spots around town.
