NEW YORK—The creation of an American Zalman Shazar Educa- tors Award by the department of education and cuture of the World Zionist Organization was an- nounced by Rabbi Emanuel Rack- man, member of the executive of the World Zionist Organization and chairman of the department's ad- visory committee. The award is designed to "honor Jewish educators in the Diaspora for their contribution and service to Jewish education," said Dr. Hackman.
