Before I answer that ques- tion, I should like to tell you a little about the school. At Hillel we study English half of the day and Hebrew the other half of the day. We have everything that all the other schools have and in addi- tion, we have something special. We learn Hebrew, the Torah, and what it means to be a 'Jew. Now I'll answer the question We need Hillel so that if a child wants to receive an intensive Jew- ish education he is able to - . Whenever I tell someone that I go to Hillel they ask me, "How can you go to a school where they learn Hebrew half a day?" I answer that's why I attend such a school. I like the school because we learn • so much Hebrew. I'm a Jew and I want to_ know what makes me , a Jew, and how I can be a good- one. I feel I'm lucky to be going to such a fine school where Hebrew studies are as important as the general studies. I'm positive that if you would be going to Hillel you would soon un- derstand what I'm talking about and be as proud as I am.
