The Detroit Chapter successfully launched phase two of its campaign
to equip the Detroit Mechanical and Aircraft Engineering Complex
at the Technion. Looking on are S. L. A. Marshall (second from
left) and Gen. Hahn Laskov, former chief of staff of the Israel
Army. The meeting, held at the home of David D. Hahn in Hunting-
ton Woods, raised $75,000 toward the campaign goal of $400,000.

Detroit Chapter, launched phase
two of the campaign to equip' the
Detroit Mechanical- and -Aircraft
Engineering Complex, at the Tech- -
nion in Haifa.
Held last week at the Hunting-
ton Woods home of David D. Kahn,
the pre-campaign meeting was re-
sponsible for raising $75,000' to-
ward a projected goal of $400;000.
Sam Rich, president of- the
Detroit chapter, stated that phase
one, the construction of the Detroit'
Mechanical Engineering' ComPlex,
has been successfullY etTIPPletttl-

by the Technion mechanical engi-
neering faculty.

tecture, transportation all contain
evidence of Technion's vital role
to the well being and economy of
Israel." .
