Shalom Sets Trip,
Halloween Dance
Shalom, the group for singles
age 21-39, will hold a Halloween
dance 8 p.m. Sunday at Alvaro's
Lounge, Royal Oak.

costumes, although they are op-
tional. Live music will be featured.

the engagement of their daughter
Deborah to Marshall Cohen, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Cohen

Miss Kelman is a junior in the
school of architecture and design
at the University of Michigan. Mr.
Cohen, a graduate of U. of N., has
a fellowship in physics at the
- University of Pennsylvania. The
couple plans a June wedding.

garten) will present film -slides
of last years' events and experi-
ences in the school program at an
open house 8:30 p.m. Wednesday
in the synagogue's school wing.
A tape recording will be played
to demonstrate a new technique
used as teaching tool this year.
Classrooms will be open to
visitors, and the school staff will
describe the school's objectives ,
and activities.
The children's work in art, sci-
ence, math and language arts will
be on exhibit.
Those interested in young chil-
dren and early childhood educa-
tion are invited. Refreshments will
be served.
