"The Book of Daniel" is a com- pilation of historical data relative to the Rosenberg espionage trial as seen through the eyes of one of the children, Daniel. Doctorow's earlier novels are "Welcome to Hard Times" and "Big as Life." Brits, 8 p.m. Nov. 14. He will speak in Hebrew on his "The Process of Creativity." Dr.- Gritz is a member of the Tel Aviv and Haifa university staffs of Hebrew literature and education.
