of $5,210,000 in Israel Bonds was
tiold at a recent dinner here, spon-
sored by the, Greater. New York
Committee- for State of 'Israel
Bonds:
Maj. Gen. Mordecai Hod, com-
mander of the Israel Air Force,
was the principal-speaker.
The event,.which opened the
committee's fall, campaign, also
honored five New York Jewish
leaders for their efforts in
mobilizing Israel Bond invest-
ment capital for Israel economic
development.
More than SOO persons saw the
guests of honor receive the Israel
Bond Organization's Herbert H.
Lehman Israel Award.
Recipients were David Berg,
Moses Hornstein, Mrs. Aleck Led-
man, David twinkle and David
Rosenthal.
