RONALD SHEIMAN The newlywed Ronald Lee Shei- mans will make their home in Hartford, Conn., after a honey- moon in the East. The bride, Deborah Joy Lovitky, is the daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Lovitky of Begole St. Mr. Sheiman is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Sheiman of Fairfield, Conn. The couple was married by Rabbi Gilbert Kollin at Temple Beth El Sunday evening. The bride was gowned in or- ganza over a matching peau de sole A-line gown. Re-embroidered English net covered the Empire bodice, accented with seed pearls. -The scallop-edged standup collar and long, narrow sleeves were outlined with pearls, and there was a matching chapel train. Short tiers of silk illusion were secured by an open crown circlet of or- ganza and re-embroidered pearls. The bride carried roses and Steph- anotis in a French colonial design. Attending her were Shelley Hourvitz, maid of honor; and bridesmaids Mrs. John Hartman of Bloomington, Ind., Harriet Koffman, Mrs. Bernard Toby of Pontiac, Mrs. Zuli Steremberg of Trumbull, Conn., the bride- groom's sister, and Mrs. Michael Rubin of Ann Arbor. Best man was Jay Ringelheim of Fairfield, and ushers were Jef- frey Lovitky, the bride's brother; Gary Gladstein of Fairfield, Dr. Zuli Steremberg, David Schwanz of Detroit and Richard Scholsohn of Fairfield. Also participating in the cere- mony were the bride's grandpar- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hour- vitz and Mrs. Max Frankel, and the bridegroom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Feinberg of Rego Park, N.Y. Thomas Sagendorf, director of the Interfaith Action Council, greeted the participants on behalf of Flint Christians, and Dr. Stanz- ler asked that letters be sent to families of Jews being harassed by Soviet authorities.
