The twin 14-story luxury North
Park Place apartment buildings
are now accommodating their first
residents. Forty families have
moved to the new 16400-North
Park Dr. address even as work-
men complete details in the corn-
- panion high-rise structure. '
The 274-apartment North_Park
Plaice complex, which started in
December 1969 as the third
phase of the Sullivan-Smith de-
velopment, is located on-10 acres

employing - 8,000 tons of concrete
block and over 2,000 tons of bricks,
reduced construction time and
costs without sacrificing high qual-
ity. The solid masonry walls be-
tween apartments provide optimum
sound privacy for our residents."
Built at an estimated cost of
$8,000,000, North Park Place con-
tains two- and three-bedroom apart-
ments with a choice of four floor
plans. Space in the two-bedroom
units ranges from 1,200 to 1,300
square feet and rents for $325 to
$410. Three-bedroom apartments
offer 1,400 to 1,500 square feet and
rent from $395 to $490. Combina-
tion units can be obtained with
space up to 3,140 square feet. -
Each apartment - has two full
bathrooms, a private balcony, in-
dividually controlled heat and air-
conditioning and cloied circuit
television to the outer lobby for
screening visitors. Laundry and
storage areas are available on each
floor.
Kitchens have furniture-finish
cabinets, and appliances include
a large double-door frost-free re-
frigerator-freezer, double oven (one
self cleaning), range, automatic
-dishwasher and garbage disposal.
The leisure center on the lobby
floor offers saunas, exercise
rooms, showers, a large • com-
munity lounge and card room
and bumper pool. Outdoor facili-
ties include a large pool area
with sun deck and regulation-
sized tennis courts.
Apartment models are open from
noon to 5 p.m. daily except Thurs-
day, or by appointment.

The Jewish Vocational Service,
officially concluding its 1971 sum-
mer placement program; reports
that in a very bleak labor market,
student placements reached about
170, representing close to 30 per
cent of all applicants who regis-
tered this summer.
Gerald Goldstein, assistant ex-
ecutive director, indicated that
without these summer jobs, many
students would find it difficult if
not impossible to continue their
college education.

Hebrew TV Program

gestion of a delegation of East

German journalists- on how to im-
prove its information services, the
Jordanian government will soon
air a daily television program of
news and commentary in Hebrew,
the Beirut daily Al Nahar report-
ed. Egypt and Syria have Hebrew
radio programs but no television
programs in Hebrew.
