At the same time, it repeated its urging of the Jewish com- munity to strengthei religious school education. A board of directors resolution, recently adopted, acknowledged that some differences of view on the issue exist within the Conser- vative movement. It declared: - "Not surprisingly, an issue as controversial and complex as state aid to parochial education has provoked some differences within -the Conservative movement, as it has within all branches of Juda- ism. Let us table .those disagree- ments. Let us now join hands in a full-scale effort to bring strength and vitality to our system of re- ligious education.
