For this annual "Fall ORT Hap-
pening," designer Geoffrey Beene
will personally_ narrate his collec
tion. •
Mrs.
Robert • Firrest, acting
American affairs chairman for
national ORT, will be a guest of
honor for the afternoon. Mrs.
Barry Goldberg Jr. will be chair-
man of the day. ..
The Michigan Region is in the
midst of an intensive membership
drive, diiected by- Mrs_ Martin
Zeldes, region vice president in
charge of membership.
All new members and their
sponsors will be guests of ORT
for the afternoon: There will be
an admission charge for all
others. New members may -join
at the door on the day of the
event.
Assisting Mrs. Zeldes will- be the
section chairman in charge of
membership for Michigan Region.
They are Mesdames Sam Eisen-
berger, Herbert Kramer, Marvin
Rivkin, and Seymour Rubenstein.
Women interested in membership
and/or tickets may call the ORT

In the spacious garden of Mrs.
Arthur Schlesinger, 31500 Franklin
Fairway, Farmington, Suburban
Hills ORT will sponsor an artists'
market Saturday night.
Local professional artists will
display their wares, in all Price
ranges.
At the Saturday evening show-
ing, from 7 to 10, art shoppers
and ORT supporters will be tread
