Albert A. Ross, retired jeweler,
died Sept. 7 at age 79. He was
founder in 1936 of Ross Jewelers
in the First National Building. He
had retired in January.
Born in Russia, Mr. Ross, 19324
Manor, was a 60-year resident of
Detroit. He was a member of
Cong. Bnai David and a life mem-
ber of Pisgah Lodge of Bnai Brith.
He leaves his wife, Lillian; a
daughter, Mrs. Allan (Virginia)
Laffer; a brother, Harry Ross;
four sisters, Mrs. Harry (Rose).
Kahl, Mrs. Lillian Briggs of Lan-
sing, Mrs. Goldie Clinton and Mrs.
Fannie Gendel; and five grand-
children.
