A lifelong friend of the deceased leader, Dr. Issac Lewin of New York, chairman of the American section of Agudath Israel World Organization, was main speaker of the evening. Rabbi Chaskel Grubner, execu- tive secretary of the Council of Orthodox Rabbis, also eulogized Rabbi Levin, whom he had met on many occasions, both in Poland and in this country.
