These stamps are generally avail- able through synagogue ticket com- mittees. David J. Zack, JNF president, has made aspecial appeal to the community urging everyone to pur- chase stamps. "In these times of concern and strain," he said, "more JNF con- tributions are needed than ever before." "These stamps," said Zack, "symbolize the fulfillment of 80 Jewish generations. They bring the message of the new era in Jewish history into the homes of members and worshippers." Each stamp purchased serves as a receipt acknowledging a vol- untary contribution to the cause of "Geulath Ha'aretz," the JNF program of land reclamation. In a recent letter to synagogue ticket committees. Zack reminded them that the Jewish National Fund provides the land founda- tion for settling and rehabilitating Jewish immigrants in Israel. In the last 70 years, the JNF paved the way for the establishment of 650 colonies, including more than 400 located on Israel's borders. Phillip Stollman and Harry Co- hen are co-chairmen of the JNF religious groups committee. Synagogue ticket committees who have not received their sup- ply of stamps, or require addi- tional amounts, should call 968- 0820, or write the JNF office, 22100 Greenfield.
