The Jewish Travel
Guide for 1971-72

IRV GRUMET

Hartmore House, Media Judaica,
is the distributor in this country
of "The Jewish Travel Guide 1971-
72" published by the London Jew-
ish Chronicle.
This guide is especially valuable
for tourists in Britain. It covers
a variety of countries, with special
attention to the United States.
All states in the union are listed,
and for Michigan the guide pro-
vides sketchy information about
these cities in addition to Detroit:
Ann Arbor, Bay City, Benton
Harbor, Flint, Grand Rapids, Kala-
mazoo, Lansing, Mount Clemens,
Pontiac, Saginaw and South Haven.
The lists of synagogues are espe-
cially impressive as given for the
various communities.
It is a sketch guide, yet it serves
a purpose in providing basic in-
formation about the Jewish com-
munities everywhere.
