Women's Lib will come to the
'pulpit of Temple Kol Ami 8:30
p.m. today when Bette Roth and
the temple women conduct the
entire Sabbath eve service in the
absence of vacationing Rabbi Ernst
Conrad.
"Times They Are-a-Changing"
will be the theme as the men are
relegated to the traditionally fe-
male roles of lighting the can-
dles and serving the oneg Shabat
refreshments.
Participants in the service will
include Barbara Bergman, Carol
Freedman and Gail Hollander.

MRS. IRA AUSLANDER

Marcia Judy Linden and Ira
Steven Auslander were married
in a recent ceremony at Temple
Israel. Rabbis M. Robert Syme
and Leon Fram and Cantor
Harold Orbach officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Judge and Mrs. Joseph S. Linden
of Owosso, The bridegroom is the
son of Mr. Henry Auslander of
Oxley Rd., and the late Evelyn
Auslander.
The bride wore a gown of silk
organza and English net with bish-
op sleeves, mandarin neckline and
chapel train. The illusion veil was
secured by a Camelot headpiece.
She carried a bouquet of rose buds.
Maid of honor was Mindy Joan
Linden, the bride's sister. Brides-
maids were Mesdames Jeffery
Leib, Richard Lezell of Ann Arbor
and Allen Silberman of Chicago.
Richard Lezell served as best
man, while Jeffery Leib, Allan
Silberman and Steven Fellows
served as ushers.
Following a honeymoon in
Toronto, the couple will live in
Southfield. .
