THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS 26—Friday, July 9, 1971 They're New Brides Junior Division Offers Volunteers Chance to Travel The Junior Division of the Jew- ish Welfare Federation is offering volunteers in its summer tutorial program a chance to visit Detroit area attractions - - the Belle Isle children's zoo, Metropolitan Air- port, Upland Farms and the De- troit Zoo. Tutors are needed for the pro- gram for 100 children from De- troit public schools. High school and college students, teachers, housewives and professional men and women may volunteer for one, two or three mornings a week. Classes begin July 6 and will be held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until July 29 from 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Volunteers may call Mrs. Lillian Berstein, WO 5-3939 for informa- tion, or program chairman Sheila Glass, 356-7985. The bride wore her mother's satin wedding gown with cathedral train, long buttoned sleeves and a deep-cut round neckline banded in hand-made silk-petaled roses.
