Fair Commercial Exhibits Building
will be constructed at the Fair-
grounds this year.
E. J. "Jeff" Keirns, general
manager of the Michigan State
Fair, in announcing the new con-
struction, said that the building
would be completed by fall 1971.
During fair time, the building
will house the general merchan-
dising and home modernization
exhibits which have been displayed
in other years in the Blue and Gold
buildings on the grounds.
The 1971 Michigan State Fair
extended its dates by six days this
year, and runs from Aug. 27
through Sept. 12.

35 U.S. Student Leaders
to Join Seminar in Israel
NEW YORK — Thirty-five stu-
dents from 31 universities through-
out the United States will be par-
ticipating in a leadership training
seminar in Jerusalem, under the
auspices of the university service
department of the American Zion-
ist Youth Foundation July 15- Aug.
15. William Levine, executive di-
rector of the American Zionist
Youth Foundation, made the an-
nouncement.
The students will meet with Is-1
raeli leaders and representatives
of the Arab community, visit Arab
refugee camps and get together
with other American students.
College students in the area are
invited to a meeting, 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, when a discussion on
"Being Jewish in the Space Age"
will take place at the Jewish
Center.
Guest resource person will be
Rabbi Jacob N. Kranz of the Mish-
kan Israel Nusach H'ari Luba-
viteher Center.
Future discussions are scheduled
for alternate Wednesday evenings
