Richard Melvin Firestone in a re-
cent ceremony at the Pontchartrain
Hotel. Rabbi Sherwin Wine offi-
ciated. They are the children of
Dr. and Mrs. Irving Burton of
York Rd., Huntington Woods; and
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Firestone of
Los Angeles. The bride's gown
was of silk organza, appliqued and
trimmed with Alencon lace. It
featured bishop sleeves, standaway

the bride's mother, was gathered
to an open crown and appliqued
in matching lace. Carol Burton
served her sister as maid of honor.

maid. The bridegroom's brother,
David Firestone, was the best man.
Stephen Burton, the bride's broth-
er,, was the usher. Following a
honeymoon in Toronto, the couple
will live in Ann Arbor.

2 yolks of hard boiled eggs

I. Cut the crust evenly off each slice
of bread. With a sharp knife, divide
each slice into four equal squares.
Arrange the 20 squares on a cookie
sheet. Toast in a 450-degree F oven
for seven minutes, or till they are
gold and crisp. Cool. If you prepare
ahead, keep in a tightly closed con-
tainer.
2. Beat the butter till fluffy and add
egg yolks and mustard. Beat till
smooth. This can be prepared ahead
of time.
3. Cut the lox into one inch squares.
Spread' the bread squares with the
flavored butter. Arrange a square of
lox on top. Garnish with a parsley
leaf on each canape. Set the canapes
on a serving tray and chill till serv-
ing time.

21,000 Zionists Expected
in Argentine Census

BUENOS AIRES (ZINS) — .The
Zionist census in Buenos Aires is
complete, with 13,080 individuals
registered as Zionists, subscribing
to the Jerusalem Program.
Saul Patritch, secretary general
of the Latin-American Confedera-
tion of General Zionists, said the
breakdown of voting by party is
as follows:
Mizrachi-Hapoel Hamizrachi —
2,800; Labor Zionists-2,700; Gen-
eral Zionists-1,900; WIZO-1,500;
Herut-1,400; Mapam-1,100; Zion-
ist Youth Federation-900; Inde-
pendent Liberals-580. It is ex-
pected that z`se 'total enrollment
for Argentina will reach 21,060.
The voting in lOsario, contain-
ing the largest Jewish population
after Buenos Aires, had the Gen-
eral Zionists in first place.
The total. of Jews in Argentina is
now approximately 450,000.
