TEL AVIV (ZINS) — Press re-
ports comment with increasing
frequency that Arab workers are
beginning to play a larger role in
the Israel economy. In March
Israel's building industry employed
no less than 15,200 Arab laborers.
There were 5,500 Arab employees
in commercial establishments, 6,900
in factories and 1,300 in miscellan-
eous jobs. The building trades and
a number of factories now depend,
in large measure, on Arab labor.
Labor Minister Joseph Almogi is
reported to have issued a warning
that, while many jobs are held by
non-Jews, there are still 25,000
Israeli youngsters not attending
school and unemployed.

MAURICE C. ZEIGER LODGE
installed the following officers for
1971-72: Malcolm Simon, presi-
dent; Saul Arsht, David Kruger,
Seymour Lankowsky and Max
Wayburn, vice presidents; Maurie
Litvin and Herbert Nathan, secre-
taries; Steven Meyers, chaplain:
Stanley Berlin, warden; 'Bernard
Stahl, guardian; and Sam Feig,
Burt Gold, Harry Goldberg, Ed-
ward Gordon, Richard Greenstein,
Maxwell Handelman, Manuel Mac-
kie and Frank Sharkus, trustees.

ALBERT D. TUCKER CHAPTER
will hold an art auction and exhibit
8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cong.
Bnai Moshe. A champagne preview
will be at 7:30. A prize will be
awarded, and friends are welcome.

Seymore Resnick, 398-2745.
