JERUSALEM (JTA) — Women's
lib has come to the occupied Jor-
danian West Bank—if only in print.
A new bimonthly newspaper de-
voted mainly to social and educa-
tional matters of interest to women
is called "Fataat Falastin" or "The
Palestinian Woman." Two other
Arab newspapers are published
regularly in the West Bank.
The nearly-three-year-old El Kuds
("Jerusalem"), which is vehement-
ly anti-Israel and also is read by
many Israeli Arabs, claims a cir-
culation of 18,000. Al Bashir ("The
Messenger") is published weekly.
