Sunday will be graduation and
consecration day for many stu-
dents in Detroit area Jewish
schools.
Shaarey Zedek Religious School
will hold its consecration at 9:30
a.m. in the main sanctuary, when
the girls of the 10th grade will pre-
sent a cantata they have written,
"Who Was I? Who Am I? What
Will I Be?"
Consecrants are as follows:

The War Crimes Museum oper-
ated by Stanley Bozich (see Pure-
ly Commentary May 28) at Keat-
ington Antique Village is open 10
a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Sat-
urday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.

Bozich said he welcomes youth
groups, like the class brought in
from Shaar Hashomayim Congre-
gation, Windsor, by Rabbi Melvin
Sachs. The Oakland County Youth
Camp also recently visited the
museum, he said, and the tour and
accompanying "history 1 e s s o n"
have been made part of the cur-
riculum.

Mitzva exercises 7:45 p.m. Wed-
nesday in the main sanctuary.
A cantata, "Israel: a Dream
Realized," will be presented by
the consecrants and Bnot Mitzva.
Cantor Israel Fuchs is director.
Rabbi Israel I. Halpern will de-
liver the charge to the students,
and Rabbi Martin Tatelbaum will
offer the benediction. Following
the exercises, parents of the con-
secrants and Bnot Mitzva will be
hosts at a reception in the social
hall, served by the sisterhood of
the congregation.
Morris Beider and Jeffrey Gar-
ton, co-chairman of the synago-
gue Hebrew school board, and
honorary chairman Morris Davis
will present the certificates,
prayer books and Bibles. Irving
Adler, president of the congre-
gation, will accept the student's
gift to the congregation. Leading
the parents committee are Mrs.
Morris Beider, chairman; Mrs.
Leonard Farber and Mrs. Fred
Grossman.
A group of Beth Abraham pre-
and post-consecrants who have
formed a youth chorus will par-

2 Center Clubs Pull
Strings for Show

The two marionette production
clubs of the Jewish Center will
perform 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the
Center's Aaron DeRoy Theater.
Each club has been meeting this
season, designing and creating its
own marionettes, learning how to
manipulate them and writing and
preparing the script.
The Teen Production Club will
present an adaptation of a story
by Isaac Peretz, "Theres a Snake
in Every Garden," based on the
story "Devotion Without End."
The Children's Production Club
is presenting "The Fearsome End"
by Isaac Bashevis Singer.
Both clubs invite the community
to the performance.
