Debbie Lynn to Marc Mazer, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Al Mazer of Dor-

The bride-elect is a senior ma-
joring special education at
Wayne State University. Her fiance
is affiliated with. Phi Mu Alpha
professional music fraternity at
Wayne State University, where he
is a senior majoring in mathema-
tics education.
The couple plan to marry in

Charles E. Feinberg, Camp Gan
Israel chairman, announced that
the new dining hall and dormitory
facilities have been completed and
stand ready to receive this year's
campers.
Dates of the 1971 summer camp
season are:
For girls age 6-16: June 29-July
26 (visiting day July 18). For boys
6-16: July 27-Aug. 23 (visiting day
Aug. 15).
Rabbi Yitzchak M. Kagan of the
Lubavitcher Center again will be
head counselor of the boys' season.
Located in Linden, Mich., on
the shores of Pine Lake, Gan
Israel is 15 miles south of Flint
and 50 miles from Detroit. Ac-
tivities include boating, music,
baseball, arts and crafts, dra-
matics, overnight hikes, swim-
ming and tennis. A registered
nurse is on hand at all times.
Free Bar Mitzva lessons are
provided where necessary.
The Gan Israel camp network
was founded in 1956 under the
auspices of the Merkos organiza-
tion (Central Organization for
Jewish Education), with headquar-
ters in Brooklyn.
To date, Gan Israel is serving,
with its 12 branches, Jewish com-
munities in Israel, Australia, Bra-
zil, England Italy, Canada and in
numerous cities in the United
States. They engage in collective
programing and exchange of ideas.

Center Retirees' Club
Raises $10,463 for Israel

The retired business and profes-
sional men of the Jewish Center
businessmen's club have raised
$10,463 for the Israel Emergency
Fund since the Six-Day War.
Harry Weinberg is chairman of
the club emergency fund. His co-
workers are David B. Brown, pres-
ident; Irving Lyons, vice president;
Maurice Seligman, treasurer of the
emergency campaign; Henry Car-
nick, Morris Fishman, Harry Katz-
man, Oscar L. Reiser, Morris
Gurevitc h, Abe Bello, Sam
Schwartz, Abe Katz and Max
Simon.
