Young Leaders Wind Up Training Sessions
The final session of the 1970-
71 Young Leadership Training
Group, sponsored by the Flint
Jewish Community Council,
focused on "Soviet Jewry," with
Dr. Zvi Gitelman, assistant pro-
fessor of political science at the
University of Michigan. Dr. Git-
elman pointed out that it was
the responsibility of the Jews of
the free world to continue their
protests as the Soviet Union is
sensitive to world opinion. Part
of the group listening to Dr.
Gitelman includes (from left) front row: Mrs. Edward Powers, Mrs. Ronald Goldstein and Malcolm Isa-
acs; second row: Mrs. Edward Sharon, Dr. Sharon, Mrs. William Bernard, Dr. Bernard; third row: Mrs.
Jerold Mills, Dr. Mills, Edward Povrers; fourth row: Miss Isaacs, Mrs. Malcolm Isaacs, Mrs. Harry
Karsh, Mr. Karsh; and back row: James Lebster. Co-chairmen of the group this year were Dr. Bernard
and Isaacs.
