Home for Jewish Elderly
CAMDEN, N.J. (JTA) — A spec-
ial planning committee of the Jew-
ish Federation of Camden County
has recommended action by the
Federation to establish a home for
the aged in Camden, one of the
few Jewish communities in the
20,000 member category which has
no such facilities. The Greenwood
Home for the aged in Trenton has
been providing four beds for Cam-
den area residents.
The Trenton Jewish community is
planning a new home for the aged
and informed the Camden Feder-
ation it was willing to add more
rooms for Camden elderly Jews to
its plans if the Camden Federation
would contribute to the added
costs.
