'Israel Embassy Airlift' to Carry
Bond Golden Sponsors to D.C.
A select group of metropolitan
Detroit area women will be the
special guests of Mrs. Itzhak
Rabin, wife of the Israel ambas-
sador to the United States, at an
Israel Bond "Golden Sponsor"
luncheon May 10 at the Israel
Embassy residence in Washington,
D.C.
The Detroit group will leave
early in the morning May 10 for
Washington and return home the
same day. Mrs. Samuel Hamburg-
er, a leader in the Israel Bond
women's division, is chairman of
this unique "Israel Embassy Air-
lift."
At the luncheon, the Detroit
women will have the opportunity
to converse with Mrs. Rabin about
Israel's present situation a n d
prospects for peace.
Mrs. Rabin will present each
woman who subscribes for $5,000
or more in Israel Bonds with a
