Suburban Hills Afranges Gallery Event

Prof. Leonard Moss of the de-
partment of anthropology at Wayne
State University was among those
Detroiters who returned their
Mobil credit cards as a protest
ligainst Mobil's bowing to the Arab
boycott.
In his letter to the district sales
office of Mobil in Birmingham, he
wrote:

to Visit Toledo Show

The Gallery Tours groups of the
Jewish Center will visit the Toledo
Museum of Art Thursday, led by
Mrs. Deanna Sperka. The group
will leave by bus at 9 a.m., from
the 10 Mile branch.
The museum is featuring more
than 100 18th Century paintings
from Italy. The 80-artist exhibition
is the result of four years of inter-
national negotiations by directors
of the museums of Toledo, Chicago
and Minneapolis.

Annual Aliya Conference
to Be at Center March 28

The second annual aliya confer-
ence will be held 3 p.m. March 28
at the Jewish Center. ^
Sponsors of the conference stated:
"There is a great desire to have
people immigrate to Israel, and
there are many reasons for them
to do so. However, we want people
to come to Israel only because
they really want to, because they
have a deep desire to help build
Israel into a strong country. We
hope that this conference will open
new doors for them."
Ten Israeli professionals and
shlihim will participate in the con-
ference. Panels will be held on the

Wedding to Mr. Turett

The next blood bank rally for the
Bnai Brith lodges and chapters will
be held 5-10 p.m. Monday and
Tuesday at Pepper School.
Twenty-five lodges and 25 chap-
ters have been responsible for the
distribution of over 19,000 pints of
blood to Bnai Brith members and
their families. The bank is one of
the largest of its kind in the coun-
try.
Mrs. Isadore Perlmutter and
Henry Cohn, co-chairmen, have
urged the membership to attend
the rally to assure an adequate
supply of blood to be on hand to
meet urgent needs.

Dr. YEHUDA COHEN, director
of secondary education at Mercy
College, recently represented the
college at the annual conference
of the American Association of
Colleges for Teacher Education in
Chicago. Dr. Cohen was discussion
leader at the clinic on human rela-
tions.
