Stricken Teen

TEL AVIV—When the distraught
parents of teen-age Israeli Yuval
Rosenthal learned he would have
to be sent to the U.S. to undergo
open-heart surgery, they despe-
rately appealed for financial help.

a campaign by the Israel affiliate
of the Bnai Brith Youth Organiza-
tion, Noar Lenoar.
Boys and girls of the 4,500-

Jerusalem, Haifa and other cities,
held a fund-raising march, can-
vassed factories, offices and
stores and sponsored fund-raising
concerts.
News of the undertaking over

stirred the hearts of Israelis and
drew additional contributions from
the U.S.
Yuval, now fully recovered from
his ordeal, was reported to be
home and happy.
