JOE VOUGHT (pronounced
"vote"), bartender at Angel's
Hour Glass, has been around a long
time . .. and invariably someone
comes in who knew Joe from one
of the many spots he's worked . .
Besides being an expert bartender,
Joe is an excellent mixer, too, and
joins in with rhythmic good times
being enjoyed by the customers
. . It's not unusual to see Joe
behind the bar accompanying the
Billy Rose Trio with his mur-
rachas, calavas or gourd . .
they're his stock in trade almost
as well as knowing how to pour a
good drink or cocktail mix.
VINCENZO'S ITALIAN eatery
on John R. between Six and Seven
Mile lids., doesn't exactly give
you a doggy bag to -lake home
leftovers . . . Theirs is called a
VIP Bag (Very Important Pack-
age) . . . with the wording, "You
