Jewish Women's Group Places Elderly in Paying Jobs Without Charge SAN ANTONIO (JTA) — A free employment agency for eld- erly persons, created by a Jewish women's group in San Antonio, has made hundreds of placements since it was started more than two years ago. It is continuing to bring applicants and jobs together despite a recent decline in the number of job openings because of the current economic chimp. The employment service was started in September 1968 by the San Antonio section of the National Council of Jewish Women after the section found there was no agency in San Antonio for such job' hunters. As reported in the current issue of the NCJW's "Coun- cil Woman," the problem had interlocking aspects.
