Former Detrolters Mr. and Mrs. Mark D. Sterns of Miami Beach
were honored at a golden wedding celebration hosted by their children,
Mr. and Mrs. Carl M. Siegel of Detroit and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wyzan,
former Detroiters of Cherry Hill, N.J. The party was at the Carillon
Hotel, where Mr. and Mrs. Sterns reside. Local residents who made the
trip south for the occasion included the Siegels and their children, Mr.
and Mrs. David Kaplan and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Krass.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Frank of Cranbrook Ave. celebrated their
golden wedding anniversary Jan. 3, at a family reception held by their
daughters, Mrs. Betty Schulman and Mrs. Susan Prady, at the Pradys'
home in Southfield.
Richard Banks and family of Decatur, Ill., were among the out-
of-town guests at the Bar Mitzva of Mr. Banks' nephew, Glenn Gut-
-*man. son of Mrs. Myra Gutman. The Bar Mitzva was solemnized at
Beth Moses and a luncheon was given in his honor at Northland Inn.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyers, former Detroiters of Los Angeles,
have returned from a 10-day Mexican cruise. They celebrated their 55th
wedding anniversary aboard the British ship Oriana.
