Malin, Landsmanshaften Leader Morris Malin, 77, who for many years was a leader in the Lands- manshaften, whose combine d movement he headed- as the first president, and who was a pioneer worker for the Histadrut, died at the Home for the Aged Monday. Surviving are his wife, Anna; three sons, Ben of Northridge, Calif., Larry and Isidore; a daugh- ter, Mrs. Irving (Evelyn) Rich; 13 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Mr. Malin was instfumental in raising funds for a clinic at Kupat Holim Hospital in Gan Yavne, Israel, through Histadrut, and aided the Jewish National Fund and other causes. For 18 years he was on the staff of the Wayne County Treasurer. An unsuccessful candidate for the State Senate 20 years ago, he owned the Fenkell Variety Store at Fenkell and Muirland for 20 years until - his retirement eight years ago. Joseph L. Stone, Labor Zionist, 80 Labor Zionist leader Joseph Leo Stone, who retired five years ago from his jewelry business, located in the Metropolitan Building' for 30 years. died Sunday in Miami Beach. He was 80. Mr. Stone, who was born in Poland, was a former member of Cong. Shaarey Zedek, an active member of Arlazaroff Branch of Farband and past treasurer of the Farband City Committee. He be- longed to Branch 2 of the Labor Zionist Organization and Habonim Chay Commission and was active in the Histadrut campaigns. He leaves his wife. MORRIS MALIN Mrs. Malin was in Israel three years ago to attend the clinic's dedication. He served as president of the Korostishever Aid Society which assisted in establishing the clinic in Israel.
