UN Condemns Nazism;
Votes on Extradition
of War Criminals

UNITED NATIONS, N.Y. (JTA)
—The General Assembly has ap-
proved unanimously a resolution
condemning Nazism and other
forms of racial intolerance—after
Israel had joined with the Soviet
Union and the Arab bloc in an un-
successful attempt to retain the
word "neo-Nazi." The United
States, Britain and France voted
to delete it.
The resolution passed by 108 to
0, with six abstentions. The as-
sembly also voted in favor of ar-
rest and extradition of war crim-
inals and to continue the work of
the Ceylon - Somalia - Yugoslavia
committee investigating Israeli
practices in the occupied Arab
territories.
