Finis Italian-American Cuisine
Deliciously Prepared for the
Discerning Taste

The Best of Everything

the intricate organ keyboard
and pedals is uncanny . . . People
not only go to hear Danny but also
to watch his every movement on
the overhead mirror . . . If you
haven't seen or heard Danny Hol-
ley at the Afterglow, you're miss-
ing an exceptionally interesting
experience!
IT'S CALLED "THE PIPERS"
. . . on 10 Mile Rd. between South-
field and Evergreen (site of the
former Provincial House) . . . and
open 24 hours with a full menu
for breakfast, lunch, dinner and
after-theater all day and all night.
.. . No counter—a regular dining
room decorated in Early American
motif, with leather chairs and
booths . . . and seating capacity
about 70 . . . This is "The Pipers
Fine Foods" number three.

Southfield . . . Carole Hughes,
Pam Mahlebasheian and Sandy
Smith are customer pleasers . . .
all with the very valued smiles
and extra know-how efforts that
are so essential in patron satisfac-
tion . . . Carole, Pam and Sandy
are among the reasons why people
keep going back to Angel's!

HOW HE DOES IT is simple . . .
I mean Danny Holley drawing the
crowds from Wednesday through
Saturday into the Afterglow Lounge

THAT SHENANDOAH

HOW JAVA JUNCTION out
Woodward between 13 and 14 got
its name? . . . Mike Ditch, presi-
dent of Little Caesar's, had it in
his mind years ago while with the
army of occupation in Europe after
World War II .. . Seems that in
the small European town where
they were stationed, the soldiers
used to meet at the local railroad
station after weekend passes . .
"Let's meet at the Java Junction "
said the GIs, and Mike never for-
got the expression ... Larry Shee-
han, head of Java Junction Sys-
tems, a subsidiary of Little Cae-
sar's, and his wife Joan, are the
parents of six youngsters who have
a complete railway setup in the
basement of their home in North-
west Detroit to conform with the
Java Junction setup ... So home
or work, Larry just can't get away
from those railroad whistles!
FRANK SIDNEY, whose many
enterprises include aerial adver-
tising, will return to the sky-high
Cabaret LaBoheme atop the Hotel
Pontchartrain for a two-week en-
gagement beginning Nov 25
The Sidney Orchestra, featuring the
"Singing Saxaphones" and popular
vocalist Jeanne Rand, appeared at
the Cabaret last June . . The
group will entertain nightly (except
Sunday) through Dec. 5.
