Council President Mrs. Irving A. Isaacs
to Be Cited by Chapter She Helped Found

Albert Einstein Chapter of Bnai
Brith Women will pay tribute to
Mrs. Irving A. Isaacs, president of
Bnai Brith Women's Council of
Metropolitan Detroit and past presi-
dent of Einstein Chapter, with a
testimonial evening 8:30 p.m. Wed-
nesday at Temple Emanu-El.
Mrs. Isaacs, a founder of the
chapter and its second president,
has long been active in Bnai Brith.
Mrs. Isaacs has served the
women's council in every elec-
tive capacity and has held all
major chairmanships of the
council. She is a member of the
Michigan Regional Advisory
Board of the Bnai Brith Youth
Organization and the Michigan
regional advisory board of the
Anti-Defamation League.
Mother of two daughters, Mrs.
Isaacs is a writer, two books of
her verse having been published:
"Tongue in Cheek" and "Chester
the Elegant Cheshire Cat." She
