KREPLACH

This is the time of the year when
you enjoy preparing the old favor-
ite recipes, and somehow, you don't
mind the extra hour you spend in
the kitchen. Your family, of course,
loves eating special dishes, and ap-
preciates your efforts. Here is a
recipe for kreplach— pockets of
dough containing meat filling.
Serve them in a bowl of hot chick-
en broth.
DOUGH

2 cups flour
2 eggs
SAS tsp. salt
2 tbls. cold water
FILLING
1 cup ground cooked beef or
chicken
1 egg
1 tbls. onion flakes (or one fresh
onion chopped)
3 tbls. bread crumbs
1 tbls. salad oil
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
3 tsp. Instant chicken bouillon
powder

pieces of meat. They may be=
of chicken breast, giblets, etc

2. Sift the flour and eggs Into a large
bowl. Nix the eggs and water. Add
the mixture to the center of the

three inch squares. Put a tsp. of
filling in the center. Fold over
and pinch together the edges so
they are sealed tightly.
4. Boll 10 cups of water with two
taps chicken bullion In a big pot .
