Evelyn de Rothschild Coming
for Technion Annual Dinner

The world of international bank-
ing will be represented at the an-
nual dinner of the Detroit Chap-
ter, American Technion Society,
6 p.m. Nov. 8 at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek.
Evelyn de Rothschild, a member
of the merchant banking house in
London, will be introduced by Max
M. Fisher, president of the Coun-
cil of Jewish Federation and Wel-
fare funds. There will be no solici-
tation of funds.
De Rothschild is a member of
Technion's International board of
governors and chairman of the
British Technion Society. He is
vice president of the Norwood
Home for Jewish Children and
plays a prominent role in Jewish
educational and charitable affairs.
A partner of the N. M. Roths-
child and Sons, he is also a direc-
tor of many leading corporations
in the United Kingdom and over-
seas. He is on the court of gover-
nors of the London School of Eco-
nomics and Political Science and
