Nasser Story an Old One

Editor, The Jewish News:
- Quote: "His (Nasser's) Presi-
dency was consumed and shadowed
by the struggle with Israel. He had
' vowed to ride triumphant into Tel
Aviv. Instead, he died with the
Middle East more aflame than
ever . . ."
He was not the first one: Kautzki
Kawautzki, the Syrian rebel, had
the same intention (he had a white
horse in mind; otherwise, he
"would not do it"), but he did not
get further than Latrun, where a
shallow grave is still marked by
some fanatics.
To-sum it up: It never paid for
any biblical nor modern Pharaoh
to tangle with the children of
Israel.
