The luncheon wiii honor Mrs.
Morris J. Brandwine, Mrs. Samuel
Hamburger and Mrs. Pearl Nosan,
who will be presented with the
Woman of Valor Award, the high-
est rank in the Israel Bond volun-
teer army of Hen. The three are
each responsible for the purchase
or sale of 5200.000 in Israel Bonds.

television and radio editor and di-
rector, was born in Rhodesia and
educated at Cape Town University
in South Africa. She studied acting
in England with the Royal Acad-

Auction-Luncheon
Bargains will be at the top of
the menu at an auction-luncheon
being held by the Young Women
of Jewish National Fund beginning
11:30 a.m. Oct. 29 at the Kings
Arms Restaurant.
High bidders will walk off with
items donated by many local
merchants and firms.
Included are gift certificates for
clothing, shoes and curios, a week
at a summer day camp, jewelry,
portraits, an electric fry pan,
china, sculptures, floral arrange-
ments and other items. A portable
television set will be awarded.
The Young Women's Chapter
of JNF, the only one of its kind
- in the nation, has more than 90
members and activities that in-
clude several cultural programs
during the year, as well as some
fund-raising activities.
All proceeds from the auction-
luncheon will be used for JNF
projects in Israel.
