Gets Local Assist

Capital for Israel, the invest.
ment fund that assists establish-
ment of hotels and tourist plan-
ning in Israel, was given added
assistace here at a dinner meet-
ing at Bnai Moshe Monday night.
Norman Allan, chairman of the
local committee together with
guest speaker Moshe Mirav, eco-
nomic counsel of the Israel em-
bassy in this country, and the
managing director of Israel Bonds
in Detroit, Louis Levitan, outlined
the needs and secured the coop-
eration of the 200 at the dinner.
Dr. Morris Starkman was the
toastmaster and Rabbi Joshua S.
Sperka participated in the pro-

Antwerp Center Opened

ANTWERP (JTA) — Goldmuntz
Center, a four-story building for
Jewish cultural, artistic and com-
munal events, financed by a le-
gacy of Romi Goldmuntz, an Ant-
werp philanthropist, was formally
opened here.
